Pros: The cartridges for the Artisan 710 are one third the cost at Epson and work just as well. But make sure you seat you seat the cartridge firmly into its socket or else the printer won't recognize any of the cartridges already in place.
Cons: See above.

Q & A
- Hi there, The original ink specifications for the Artisan printers say: "Claria® Hi-Definition Ink (smudge, scratch, water and fade resistant photos) Up to 200-year album storage, up to 98 years under glass Lasts up to 4x longer than photo lab prints" Do your compatible inks have similar specifications? My wife is an artist, and we have to provide high quality brilliant colours with some kind of guaranteed life expectancy for the art prints she sells. Thanks, -Nico Answers This

- what does it mean with chip and with no chip? Answers This

Some of our older cartridges have "no chip" and "with chip" version.
The chip is a sensor that helps the printer to recognize the cartridge and the ink level.
For NO-CHIP ink cartridges, customers have to replace the chips from the OEM original ink cartridges (genuine) ink cartridges to our new replacement ink cartridges, and we have instruction inside of the box, you can follow the instruction to replace the chip.
For WITH-CHIP ink cartridges, you can install them as easy as install the OEM ones.
Personally, we would recommend you purchasing those ink cartridges with chips, since they will save you from unnecessary efforts and potential trouble.
