About Printer X7170
The Lexmark X7170 All-in-One provides faxing, scanning, printing, and copying for small- and medium-sized businesses. Its integrated Productivity Suite software allows the user to create multi-page PDF documents from a variety of formats, convert hard-copy pages into test files that can be edited and scanned to e-mail via Lexmark's OCR program, use thumbnails and drag-and-drop functionality to easily print, fax, convert to another format, or archive any document, and upload images from PictBridge-enabled cameras. The X7170's flatbed scanner produces 1,200-by-4,800 dpi resolution. It prints at up to 4,800 dpi, and has optional 6-color support; its monochrome print speed is up to 22 ppm. It can be used either for standalone operation or be linked to one or more PCs; it is network-enabled, and has options for Ethernet and wireless network operation.
