This enclosure provides a fast, easy way to add more storage space to your computers, HD Media players, Game Consoles, etc. Its USB 2.0 interface allows users to read and write with the rate up to 480 mbps. In fact, this Super Slim Hard Drive Enclosure brings you the flexibility to reuse an existintg 3.5-inch IDE hard drive as an external storage device. It can be used with Windows, Mac or Linux.
Innovative Aluminum Construction
This IDE aluminum enclosure features an innovative cooling system that allows heat to escape from all sides of the unit. The aluminum material itself dissipates heat faster than most metals.
The engineered construction also makes installation and drive swapping easy. The corners of the enclosure feature large screws sided with ridges designed to be screwed and unscrewed with bare hands or with a phillips head.
The enclosure features an IDE cable on the inside. And the external port is USB 2.0.
