About Printer MultiPASS C30
The majority of multifunction peripherals currently on the market, such as the Hewlett-Packard OfficeJet 350, have their features built around a basic monochrome inkjet print engine. Canon's MultiPASS C30 however, stands out from the crowd by virtue of its colour bubblejet. And although you might initially be fooled into thinking that colour is an option for all the functions - particularly scanning and copying - what you actually have here is a colour printer with monochrome fax, scan and copy functions.
The C30 is fairly well built. It weighs 7.8kg and measures 395 x 482 x 355mm, so it only needs a modest amount of desk space. A main input tray at the front has enough room to accommodate 150 sheets of A4, while an automatic document feeder at the top can handle 20 sheets. An LCD display in the middle of the control panel keeps you up to date with printer status and the tidy layout of the panel makes navigation simple.
